“In late 2018 I adopted a 6 month old bernedoodle; aka Frankie. After several months of working with her on my own (unsuccessfully!) we found Lauren.
Lauren is the closest thing I know to a dog whisperer. When Frankie and I first began working with Lauren, Frankie was disruptive, unable to pay attention, and unruly. Lauren knew Frankie was looking for attention and ignored the behavior. After a few short months, Frankie was clicker trained to sit, chill out, and come when called. Lauren not only trained Frankie, but trained me. She shared with me the importance of consistency and rewarding with treats when Frankie does what she’s asked to do. She took videos of Frankie doing what she was to do, then sent them to me and gave me weekly homework.
Frankie is now 20 months and is turning into a great dog. She even went for her first jog recently and crushed it!
